Did you know that all modern drybags are based off de-lousing bags used in the army? Early rafting companies used to buy them up wherever possible to use for their clients. Don’t worry, I didn’t know either until met with the NRS representative a week ago. Just a random thought, but it helped form the base that all drybags are built off.
The NRS Tuff Sack drybags are mini versions of the original NRS Bill Bag, a fantastic large volume dry bag still produced by NRS to this day. They are a great addition to anyone’s gear arsenal. Fitting snuggly inside of most kayak hatch’s, piled in canoes, or shoved behind bulkheads. With its PVC material and welded seams, they give you storage and the security that your clothes and other trinkets will be dry up on destination. I use one every adventure, for my keys, wallet, cell, and anything else I can’t afford to loose.
The NRS Tuff Sack line available in 5, 10 15, 25, 35, 45 litre sizes. With clear, blue, green, and red as your color options, you can use the colours to organize things by type i.e. food is red, green is clothing, blue is camping equipment. Also, there’s nothing wrong with getting the one that’s most visually appealing to you.
Cheers
