Certain oversize items may have an additional shipping and handling charge. For more information please read below.
We endeavor to stock all items we offer, though due to a variety of reasons this may not always be the case. If you make an order and the specific options you chose are not available an AQ Outdoors staff member will contact you with details on current availability and a time frame on the specific make, model, color you selected.
At times we may ship product direct from the manufacturer to ensure the delivery process is as quick as possible.
NOTE: Some remote/localized areas may incur additional charges, if rates vary you will be contacted by an AQ Outdoors staff member.
Oversize Shipping/Handling Charges
Paddlesports
Within our Paddlesports department we have a number of categories that are considered oversize. Please see the table below for further details. The table below is for reference purposes and certain items may vary slightly from the price listed below.
- All Boats & Boards are shipped LTL and will be shipped to YOUR NEAREST DEPOT for pickup. Unclaimed boats, will be returned to us at your expense.
- NOTE: At this time, shipping companies WILL NOT insure boat shipments. In the unlikley scenario a boat is damaged in shipping we will work with you to resolve it, however it will not be through insured shipping
- Paddles and other oversize items are shipped by Canada Post or Courier and are delivered to your home

- AQ Outdoors aims to ship all in stock orders within 24 - 48 hours of receipt.
- Rack Accessories arrive in most delivery areas within 3 - 6 business days.
- Additional shipping rates may apply for rural/remote areas (Maritimes, NWT and Yukon all have extra shipping fees). An AQ Outdoors staff member will contact you upon receipt of your order to discuss extra fees and delivery options.
Items Damaged in Shipping
We work with our fulfilment partners to ensure timely and safe delivery of your item(s). Unfortunately there is a rare occurence where packages and/items are damaged in shipping. If you do happen to receive an item that is damaged, please do the following:
- Accept the package
- Take photos of the damaged packaging BEFORE opening if at all possible.
- Take photos of any damage to the item(s)
- Email us immediately at info@aqoutdoors.com with the images and a description of the damages.
From there we will process the request and will reply promptly with next steps. For smaller items shipped by courier/or postal service, we will likely replace or refund the item.
For larger items such as kayaks, the process may be less linear as the freight companies are ultimately responsble for damagesto items in transit. The AQ Outdoors team, in any situation will work with you to get a fair resolution.
Processing/Shipping Times
We will do everything we can to ship in stock items to you within 24 hours of order receipt. Transit times above refer to business days, weekends and holidays are NOT included in this calculation.
Any items that are shipping direct from our warehouses or are back ordered will be shipped to you within 10 business days. If this is not possible you will be contacted by a AQ Outdoors staff member to inform you of time frames, plan of attack etc.
NOTE: It is possible that some items will ship separately depending on availability
