As Canada's first dedicated Splitboard shop, we are passionate about sharing our and experiences and getting people into the backcountry for the first steps. Whether you're a beginner or seasoned splitboarder, our programs prioritize safety, skill development, and fun. Our mission is to make splitboarding and ski touring enjoyable for everyone.
Courses FAQs
Regular Course Cancellation Policy:
AQ Outdoors reserves the right to cancel, reschedule or change the location of the course if the weather conditions, avalanche risk, or any other unforeseen circumstances occur that prevent us from running a safe course that provides students with the greatest amount of learning opportunities. In this case, we will reschedule or refund free of charge.
If you need to cancel:
- Up to 15 days prior to a course a full refund minus a 10% administration fee OR free date change (same calendar year)
- 14 - 0 days prior to the course NO REFUND or date changes available.
Avalanche Safety gear is included with all our courses (Unless stated otherwise). Discounted Splitboard Rentals are also available to course participants. We do not rent snowboard boots or backpacks. If you need gear and did not indicate that in your registration, please let us know by emailing courses@aquabaticscalgary.com
Yes, You will be able to view the waiver prior to registration. A waiver must be completed in person at the beginning of each course or rental booking.
