RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

ONLINE RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

At AQ Outdoors we gladly accept items purchased online for return or exchange as long as the following criteria are met:

  • Time Frame: The return is initiated within 30 days of purchase, and the item reaches us within 45 days of purchase.

  • Condition: The item must be in its original, sellable condition with all tags attached.
  • Receipt: Include your receipt when returning the item.

  • Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for all shipping costs, and shipping charges are non-refundable (this amount will be deducted from the refund when processed).

HOW TO COMPLETE AN ONLINE EXCHANGE OR RETURN

  1. Return Slip: Fill out the return slip that came with your package.
  2. Shipping: Cover the cost of return shipping and send the item to the address indicated on the return slip.
  3. Once we receive the package, our team will check the item's condition. If it meets our standards, we will issue a refund to the original payment card. Please be aware that shipping costs are non-refundable. If the product is not returned in its original condition, a restocking fee of up to 50% may apply, depending on its resale value as determined by us.

Items purchased online may be returned in-store. Please follow our in-store return & exchange process.

Used items can only be returned if it's a warranty issue. See below for more details.

IN-STORE RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

We happily accept items purchased in-store for return or exchange as long as the following criteria are met:

HOW TO COMPLETE AN IN-STORE EXCHANGE OR RETURN

  1. Visit us in-store at our Calgary or Edmonton location to initiate a return or exchange.
  2. Our team will check the item's condition. If it meets our standards, we will issue a refund to the original method of payment or store credit. If the product is not returned in its original condition, a restocking fee of up to 50% may apply, depending on its resale value as determined by us.

Items purchased in-store may be returned by mail. Please be aware that customers are responsible for all shipping costs, and shipping charges are non-refundable. Contact us for a return slip and follow our online return & exchange process.

WARRANTY POLICY

We stand behind the gear and brands we sell. However, sometimes things slip through the cracks, and manufacturing issues occur. If you purchase a product from AQ Outdoors and it fails to perform, please contact us and we’ll work through the process with you.

Manufacturer’s warranty terms and periods vary, so our experienced staff will guide you through the process and come up with a solution.

All shipping costs for warranty items are the customer’s responsibility, except in cases where the manufacturer covers the cost. Please call us at 1-877-440-9283 for assistance.

SPECIAL ORDERS

A special order item refers to any item that we do not typically stock. This includes items not regularly available at either of our store locations or from the AQ Warehouse. Special orders require a 100% deposit of the order price at the time of placement.

Special Orders Return & Refund Policy

Special order items with custom features or not in our regular inventory cannot be returned.

Returns, refunds, or exchanges for special orders will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Factors such as the order's cost, the condition of the products, and their source (brand) will be considered to ensure fair treatment and accountability for each customer.
