The‚ new Jackson rudder is injection molded glass filled nylon. It carries additional blade length which improves turning radius and tracking. The blade geometry has been enhanced‚ to optimize the interaction between the water column and rudder blade that can be felt when maneuvering your FD. The rudder post is notched which allows debris to flow down and out of the space between the post and scupper when in use.
