Designed from the ground up, it features a thicker neoprene deck with abrasion-resistant lamination (everywhere except the tunnel), expanded Kevlar reinforcement, and a high-friction underbelly print that grips the cockpit rim. Level Six's team found that while "implosion" is a rare occurrence, most skirt failures during big drops stem from air being pushed upwards as the hull compresses upon landing. To address this issue, the team designed a small pressure release valve that allows the air to escape, preventing failure. Plus, the rubber rand is thicker than the Level Six Ace sprayskirt and is stitched and glued beneath the flange to prevent rolling under pressure—whether from an impact or a major drop. Oh, and it’s made with petroleum-free neoprene.
