AQ Outdoors Calgary's first-ever flatwater freestyle competition will have categories for all levels and all ages. The competition will take place on Sunday January 26, 2025. There will be prizes for the top 3 paddlers in all categories. Entry fees cover registration for 1 category for one paddler, a discount is given if you sign up for 5 categories. The discount will apply automatically when you add 5 to your cart.

Classic freestyle tricks on flatwater, 2-minute time per paddler. Points are based on how many tricks you can do within your time limit.
See how long you can hold a vertical stern stall. The last paddler 'standing' wins.
See how many rolls you can do in just one minute. C to C, sweep rolls, back deck rolls and hand rolls are acceptable. Only completed rolls count, you must come completely out of the water sitting up after each roll.
Paddlers will raft up in their kayaks all facing the same direction, 1 at a time paddlers will run across the boats from one end to the other. Fastest time wins. Time penalties are added if you fall off the 'piano'.
