The Southern Gulf Islands Sea Kayak Trip is 4 full days of sea kayak instruction and guiding in and around the scenic Southern Gulf Islands.
The aim of this program is to develop participants' sea kayak touring skills and knowledge while being guided around the beautiful Southern Gulf Islands. Throughout the 4 days, paddlers will learn and practice a number of different sea kayak solo and assisted rescues, expand on their paddling skills and boat control, and review trip planning, kayak packing, weather considerations, and much more.
Guests can expect great food, excellent boat selection, scenic camping locations, world-class sea kayaking, and professional, goal-oriented instruction and guiding.
After completing this course participants can expect to have a good understanding of how to organize and implement a multi-day sea kayak trip, feel comfortable performing solo and assisted kayak rescues, and have enjoyed the beautiful ocean landscape that the Southern Gulf Islands provides.
