Intro to the Yakattack Omega Rod Holder
I've been rockin’ the Yakattack Omega Pro kayak fishing rod holder on my CoosaFD for three seasons. It hasn't let me down yet. It has survived 25lb Chinook, more Walleye than I can count, and numerous other species.
The Yakattack Omega Pro kayak fishing rod holder has come along for hours and kilometers of pedalling and trolling and received pressure from the business end of slough sharks trying not to become dinner.
First Thoughts
The Omega Pro has the extra extension
If you haven't caught on by now, I'm a huge fan. Its ease of use and durability is what sold me on it. If I ever needed another I wouldn't hesitate to get another Yakattack Omega or Omega Pro kayak fishing rod holder.
The only thing I've added to make it even more versatile is an extra lock n load base so I can just switch the rod holder to the port side when needed, instead of having more clutter on my deck. I rate it 10 out of 10 trout on the amazing scale.

A taller and more adjustable version of its shorter sibling, the Omega Pro utilizes a 4" extension arm, to make it articulate and adjust even more. It also allows the user to keep your fishing reel and rod butt up and out of the cockpit area, which is needed when you're using a pedal drive instead of paddling and want to keep your rod close at hand.

Pros/ Cons
This is where my editors would normally have me put both pros and cons about the Yakattack Omega line of kayak fishing rod holders, but in this case I'm going to have to let them down. I cannot for the life of me think of a single con. If you forced one out of me, it would be for more colour option, but that's only aesthetics -- the rod holders don't catch the fish, we do!
As for the pros, it's beefy, durable, and has a built for life guarantee. It works with 99 percent of the gear track on the market today. We cannot forget that it's super adjustable, easily removed, and can be used with almost all types of fishing rods in existence.
I could fill the page with positive adjectives that reiterate the usability and awesomeness of these rod holders but, I'll save the page space and data. You really should swing by your local AQOutdoors for yourself and check one out.
