It has a five-laminate blade handcrafted of basswood and red alder in Osceola, Wisconsin, and it has Bending Branches Rockgard edge protection for added strength and durability. With a straight shaft, the Traveler is easy to use; performs well on lakes and rivers as well as in waves and wind. The Traveler canoe paddle is available in lengths from 51 inches to 60 inches (in 3-inch increments).

Due to the varied density of wood, all canoe paddles could have a +/ 10% variance in weight. Paddle weight is based on 54 inch measurements for straight shafts and 50 inch measurements for bent shafts. Extra comfortable grip.
