Born in 1972 by Bill Parks, setting out to supply quality gear to river runners. NRS is now an employee owned company, striving to provide quality river gear and support local paddlers.
From PFD's to dry wear to rafting gear to safety equipment, NRS supplies a wide variety of gear to get you suited up for the river.

For 2018, NRS is again really showing their commitment to the local Alberta whitewater community with unprecedented support of our key paddling events. This includes the upcoming Pincher Creek Festival along with Kanfest, Toby Creek and our annual Kayak Film Competition.
For the upcoming Pincher Creek Festival NRS are contributing a $1000 cad shopping spree to be used at Aquabatics Calgary. This includes ALL NRS product (excludes some brands they distribute, such as Yakima, Werner, Astral and Kokatat)

THE LOWDOWN
Where: Pincher Creek Paddling Festival
When: May long weekend. May 20 - 22, 2018
The Prize: $1000 CAD NRS Shopping Spree @ Aquabatics Calgary
How: Swing by the Aquabatics tent trailer on Saturday morning at the festival. Pick up an NRS sticker and Aquabatics Sticker. Over the weekend find a beautiful, creative, funny or memorable place and time to get the two stickers in a picture. IT HAS TO BE PADDLING RELATED! Upload the picture to Instagram and tag it #NRSpincher #NRS #Aquabaticspincher. We will then, using highly advanced algorithms pick a winner (algorithm being, we will pick out favorite). We will announce the winner during Sunday evenings festivities!
